Where do I begin with this cuff bracelet? At 1.5 inches wide, I feel a little like a Wonder Woman when I have it on, I’m not gonna lie! I had so much fun fire painting these copper cuffs. Pulling out the warm and natural colours that are within copper is a very satisfying task. Deciding when to stop is another!
This Copper cuff is made of 26 gauge copper, which is on the lighter side. It has been hammer textured and flame painted using a torch. I wanted to design something that was made of copper but wasn’t as heavy as a lot of cuffs are. It is adjustable by gently squeezing the cuff in your hand or around your wrist. I will mention that with the lighter gauge, you do need to be aware that because it is a lighter metal, it is also softer and should have a little more care taken of it. It will still stand the test of time, it’s just easier to bend and could get bent the wrong way if things are stacked on it.
It’s nice to have the option of a wider bracelet without the weight. It’s usually a personal preference.
These cuffs were cut out of a sheet of copper, shaped, smoothed and fire painted. They are all unique in colour so please also know that while you will not receive this exact one in the photo, you will receive my best work and something unique and beautiful with gorgeous colors. They are all made with the passion I use in all of my jewelry designs.
If you have any questions, please message me! I also make a skinnier version at 0.5 inch which is available in my shop. Coming soon will be a 1 inch cuff.
