This cat is part of our Brüde series of paintings, featuring pets acting out with wild abandon!
Reclaimed 26 gauge galvanized steel has been manually cut and formed into an interesting sign-canvas. It comes ready to hang from a hand made steel clip. All edges have been manually filed smooth and are folded to the back, which creates attractively rounded sides and a slim profile that does not require framing.

Art features a vivid green field of color and hand drawn wonky plaid. Art was lightly sanded between layers to give the pattern a worn, fuzzy effect. In contrast, the bright purple cat with pink highlights is painted in a straightforward cartoon style. The colors are bold and vivid, and the tiny detail touches in the mouth and white highlights make it pop from the background. A tan baseball cap flies above its head, and the silver jacks are made with metallic paint.
Art is protected with a Matte clear coat.
Not pictured, both artist’s signatures and creation date are hand engraved on the back.
This will be shipped for free in the US.

Shipping
◾️ Your art will be securely protected with cardboard, bubble wrap and packing paper, sent with tracking and insurance. When we can, we like to reuse and recycle shipping boxes and materials.
◾️ We will ship to the address on your receipt, please make sure the information is up to date when placing your order.
◾️ If an item is damaged in shipping, you must contact us right away. Provide photos of the item and original packaging, and we will work together to initiate a claim with the shipper.
Care instructions
◾️ Display your art piece indoors and out of direct sunlight.
◾Dust occasionally with a feather duster or dry cloth. If the piece needs actual cleaning, don’t submerge it in water or use harsh cleansers — slightly dampen a lint-free cloth or soft sponge with plain water and gently wipe the surface of the art and air dry. Anything more critical, contact us with a description and photos and we’ll try to guide you!
Color Disclaimer
As online shoppers we are aware of how the colors on our back-lit tablet, phone and computer screens may differ from the colors of an item in-person.
Here at Art Base Alpha we do our best to photograph items accurately and in natural light, but it’s not always perfect. Certain paint colors really throw the camera’s optics off, especially very bright, pigment rich shades and dayglow paints.
The variability of our original paintings means there will be an even greater range of colors to reproduce for you, and no matter how precise we are on our end your personal screen settings may make photos appear darker, lighter or more saturated.
