“Cocoa Nib” is the latest AGblend13 abstract Thingy, one of a kind and handmade in Maine. Reclaimed .040 aluminum has been hand cut and hammered into a surreal abstract shape, four blobby circles extending from the center. The curve of the art encourages light to enter behind the piece making it appear as though it is floating from your wall. Art is ready to hang from a custom hanger in whichever orientation you like, from the series of holes arranged on the circular bracket attached to the piece.
Art is entirely hand painted with a textured finish. Multiple shades of brown blend and speckle over the dimensional metal. The finish has a subtle satin sheen, visible as little flecks of light catch on its complex surface.
So as not to interfere with the delicate texture of the art it has not been clear coated.
For longevity we recommend keeping the art dry, indoors, and out of direct sunlight.

Shipping
◾️ Your art will be securely protected with cardboard, bubble wrap and packing paper, sent with tracking and insurance. When we can, we like to reuse and recycle shipping boxes and materials.
◾️ We will ship to the address on your receipt, please make sure the information is up to date when placing your order.
◾️ If an item is damaged in shipping, you must contact us right away. Provide photos of the item and original packaging, and we will work together to initiate a claim with the shipper.
Care instructions
◾️ Display your art piece indoors and out of direct sunlight.
◾Dust occasionally with a feather duster or dry cloth. If the piece needs actual cleaning, don’t submerge it in water or use harsh cleansers — slightly dampen a lint-free cloth or soft sponge with plain water and gently wipe the surface of the art and air dry. Anything more critical, contact us with a description and photos and we’ll try to guide you!
Color Disclaimer
As online shoppers we are aware of how the colors on our back-lit tablet, phone and computer screens may differ from the colors of an item in-person.
Here at Art Base Alpha we do our best to photograph items accurately and in natural light, but it’s not always perfect. Certain paint colors really throw the camera’s optics off, especially very bright, pigment rich shades and dayglow paints.
The variability of our original paintings means there will be an even greater range of colors to reproduce for you, and no matter how precise we are on our end your personal screen settings may make photos appear darker, lighter or more saturated.
