All original painting on hand shaped galvanized steel. The metal edges have been attractively folded to the back, and art is ready to hang from a handmade clip.
🌞 On lovely summer evenings the residents who live around Mountain Glenbire enjoy taking relaxing strolls through the springy moss and heartgrass. Usually the colorful sunset passes without incident, until now. Two cranky pansies on their respective rambles come face to face. You’d think they could maneuver around each other, and continue on their way, but you would be wrong. Neither will yield, neither will surrender, and thus they remained locked in an eternal spat. 🌛
Piece is hand painting in rich acrylics, built up in many layers for maximum color saturation. Many elements of the art have fluorescent paint overlay, especially the pansy faces and bodies. The sky blends in a gradient from day to night in shades of yellow, orange, magenta, and blue, separated by the mountain in the center and sprinkled with stars and smiling clouds. A blue house takes a break on a hill, a carrot strolls along through oversized purple flowers, a little pink slug with a vacant expression slimes along, and two asters gossip while a lovely tree looks on. Of course the true stars are the pansies, facing off with their leaves in little fists and their faces in little frowns. The pansy on the left is a reddish pink with neon red accents and dark purple and black spotting. Pansy on the right is a dayglow yellow with orange shading, and their face spots blend from light to navy blue.

Shipping
◾️ Your art will be securely protected with cardboard, bubble wrap and packing paper, sent with tracking and insurance. When we can, we like to reuse and recycle shipping boxes and materials.
◾️ We will ship to the address on your receipt, please make sure the information is up to date when placing your order.
◾️ If an item is damaged in shipping, you must contact us right away. Provide photos of the item and original packaging, and we will work together to initiate a claim with the shipper.
Care instructions
◾️ Display your art piece indoors and out of direct sunlight.
◾Dust occasionally with a feather duster or dry cloth. If the piece needs actual cleaning, don’t submerge it in water or use harsh cleansers — slightly dampen a lint-free cloth or soft sponge with plain water and gently wipe the surface of the art and air dry. Anything more critical, contact us with a description and photos and we’ll try to guide you!

Here at Art Base Alpha we do our best to photograph items accurately and in natural light, but it’s not always perfect. Certain paint colors really throw the camera’s optics off, especially very bright, pigment rich shades and dayglow paints.
The variability of our original paintings means there will be an even greater range of colors to reproduce for you, and no matter how precise we are on our end your personal screen settings may make photos appear darker, lighter or more saturated.
