Appx 14×11 inches
Reclaimed 20 gauge aluminum has been hand cut and hammered into a big curvy pear. Any sharp edges resulting from the tooling process have been manually filed down, and the piece has a sturdy custom-made hanging bracket attached to the back. Ready to hang from a small nail or picture hook.
After the metal is hammered and shaped we clean the pieces thoroughly and prime the metal to prep it for the painting. This nice ripe pear is painted with acrylic paints in a gradient of fresh green to light magenta with subtle little speckles. Big magenta ‘0’ shaped eyes float over a purple gradient and cast their own surreal shadows. Piece is topped with a demure green leaf, and a soft magenta smile brings happiness to your wall.

Our aluminum pieces are more lightweight than wood and more durable than canvas. Please keep them looking their best by displaying your art indoors and out of direct sunlight.

Shipping
◾️ Your art will be securely protected with cardboard, bubble wrap and packing paper, sent with tracking and insurance. When we can, we like to reuse and recycle shipping boxes and materials.
◾️ We will ship to the address on your receipt, please make sure the information is up to date when placing your order.
◾️ If an item is damaged in shipping, you must contact us right away. Provide photos of the item and original packaging, and we will work together to initiate a claim with the shipper.
Care instructions
◾️ Display your art piece indoors and out of direct sunlight.
◾Dust occasionally with a feather duster or dry cloth. If the piece needs actual cleaning, don’t submerge it in water or use harsh cleansers — slightly dampen a lint-free cloth or soft sponge with plain water and gently wipe the surface of the art and air dry. Anything more critical, contact us with a description and photos and we’ll try to guide you!
Color Disclaimer
As online shoppers we are aware of how the colors on our back-lit tablet, phone and computer screens may differ from the colors of an item in-person.
Here at Art Base Alpha we do our best to photograph items accurately and in natural light, but it’s not always perfect. Certain paint colors really throw the camera’s optics off, especially very bright, pigment rich shades and dayglow paints.
The variability of our original paintings means there will be an even greater range of colors to reproduce for you, and no matter how precise we are on our end your personal screen settings may make photos appear darker, lighter or more saturated.
