This necklace features a handmade lace pendant, consisting of tatting lace stitches over wire with delicate needle lace woven through beads to fill the center. It’s constructed of cotton thread around a wire core, making it lightweight but sturdy. The fire glass beads are clear with a subtle iridescent shimmer.
Although I make every endeavor to be consistent, each pendant is unique due to the handmade nature of the item. The images shown are of a sample product – yours will be made for you after your order and may vary slightly in appearance, including the exact structure of the needle lace center and the placement of the beads.
Lace Care Instructions
Lace products are designed and made to last, but require some special care to ensure long life while looking their best.
– If the lace becomes deformed, gently press back into place with fingers on a solid surface. The lace is flexible and can easily be pressed back to its original shape.
– If the lace is dusty or dirty, pat clean with a solid, lightly damp cloth.
– In the event of stains or stuck-on dirt, a small amount of laundry detergent may be used with your fingers to clean the spot. Avoid harsh soaps or scrubbing roughly under water. Avoid harsh soaps or scrubbing roughly under water.
– Hang or lay flat for storage and avoid storing the lace with tight folds in it to avoid permanent folds or creases.
